Also known as EVILM0J0, Mojo is a huge lover of game dev, art, management structures, and video games! Mojo has been around since 2010 and has been helping organise furry events since 2015 across NSW, and while he may seem sinister, scratch underneath the surface and you may find yourself surprised!

Foxdale has been involved with the organisation of FurJAM and NSW Furs since 2011. Always a helpful hand and invaluable on the day. Foxdale will be heading the Committee at Aurawra.

Flay has been attending FurJAM since 2005, occasionally helping or donating his time throughout the years. Only in recent years he has become more involved in organisation, providing advice from his hospitality and events background. Flay will be helping support the Aurawra staff.

Aquaticas (Aq) has been a digital artist for close to a decade. A self-taught artist and designer, he created the Aurawra logo and is part of the art team that helps oversee the con’s look and branding.

Kat is an invaluable member of the Aurawra team, bringing experience from FurJAM, NSW Furs Events, and BBQs since 2012. Kat helps guide the direction of the art, merchandise, and visual style of Aurawra’s themes from year to year.

Kai has been in the Furry Fandom since 2010 and has been helping out with the Sydney Furry Coffee Meet during its early days in 2012. First aid and general staffer for FurJAM since 2016 and has helped to manage the NSW Furs chats and BBQ events, Kai will be happy to help.

Johari is a Newcastle-based avian who’s passionate about DJs and music within the fandom through running DJ events under Floof Doof in both virtual reality and around Australia. He’s an avid AV enthusiast and can usually be found behind the AV desk at various conventions running visuals and making events look and sound good.

Tano has been in the fandom since 2011; he started out writing stories and still does. Originally coming from Singapore, he appeared here in Sydney in 2014 and stuck around. Been a volunteer since year 1! He’s happy to lend a hand, and you might see him running around with a camera during the con.

Max is a freelance digital artist and full-time dog from Canberra who has been active in online furry spaces since 2014. When they’re not doodling, you can find them playing DnD or forcibly showing someone photos of their cats. Max is joining Aurawra’s art team and is excited to help out!

Ava (Frosted Monster) has been an active part of the Australian furry fandom from the moment they saw the record for “Largest Gathering of Furries” in the 2006 edition of Guinness World Records. A lover of foxes, cats, and dragons equally, they have endless energy for the digital arts, especially when it comes to expressive character art and magical landscape paintings. Their years spent studying certificates, diplomas, and bachelor’s of animation and graphic design have resulted in an experienced and fast artist. You can often find them roaming conventions and meets as a big kemono-style cat or as a cool and edgy red fox with piercings, or sitting behind a big colourful table in the Dealers’ Den!

Sirius is your local Aurawra art gremlin focusing on making cool props and drawing things <3 they’ve been attending events since 2019 and love to make sure everyone feels safe and has a good time~ other than what they do for Aurawra, their hobbies are playing video games, ceramics, and learning new techniques like paper making, bookbinding and woodworking!

Meraki joined the furry community in 2020 after she had been drawing her husband’s fursona and eventually couldn’t resist creating her own. The first convention she attended was Aurawra’s first year in 2022, where she immediately felt a sense of belonging.
Meraki works in graphic design and printing. Her hobbies are singing, drawing, pet care, crafting, and playing Nintendo games.

Tempest has been a member of the NSW furry community since December 2021. Since then, he has been involved in organisation work for the NSW BBQs. With a keen eye for detail, Tempest is an integral part of the manufacturing of props for Aurawra!

Maui has been present in the furry community since 2011 and has run events such as “Bunfur” in Queensland. Maui also contributed his time to the ship that was seen at Aurawra’s maiden voyage. Maui is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to fabrication and is a handy asset to Aurawra’s prop team!

Chel Riot (Cawbaret) is a local freelance artist, drawing furries since 2008 but only active in the local community as of 2018. Experienced as a professional concept artist and animator, they put their love of animals and art to good use for Aurawra, having previously designed the 2019 FurJam shirts. When not scrawling away at an art project, they’re either covered in their small flock of pet birds or running around as a giant plush fox!

Aurawra – Year 2: The Lost Empire
Joss has been active in the furry scene since 2005 and was involved in running early events in WA, including PFG, FurWAG, and Midfur 10 and 11, as a blend of volunteer, staff, and board positions. He resumed his interest and love in helping events run with the NSWFur BBQs and Aurawra in 2022 and joined the staff for Aurawra in 2023. He specialises in logistics, transportation, and general behind-the-scenes organisation. With a keen interest in automotive technology, motorsport, and VR, Joss is always beneficial to have around and helpful in a pinch.

Ray has been a volunteer for numerous furry events as far back as 2008, including FurJAM, MiDFur, RivFur, FurDU, and Eurofurence. Following a break of several years, Ray stepped back into his most recent speciality of Charity Operations to help Aurawra make the most positive impact it can.
